Group Term Life benefits allow covered workers the opportunity to provide valuable protection for their families when financial help is needed the most.
Two types of GTL benefits are available through WELS VEBA. Basic GTL is provided to all members of the WELS VEBA Group Health Care Plan in the amount of $25,000/employee and $12,500/enrolled spouse.
GTL is also available as an optional benefit for eligible workers to provide additional coverage. With coverage amounts ranging from $10,000 to $150,000 per employee, GTL benefits provide workers with a wide variety of coverage options to meet the needs of their families. It is available to workers receiving health benefits under WELS VEBA and eligible workers whose sponsoring organization has one or more workers enrolled for health benefits under WELS VEBA.
The GTL benefits are fully insured and administered by the Sun Life Assurance Company of Canada ("Sun Life").
